These terms govern your use of the Mexico tourist IVA (VAT) refund service provided by Grupo Pandal Servicios, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (RFC EDU2403151A3), Ciudad de México, operating the Tax Free brand under authorization from YVESAM ("we", "us"). By messaging us on WhatsApp to start a refund, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

We prepare and submit your tourist VAT (IVA) refund claim under Article 31 of the Ley del IVA through the SAT's authorized program. We are a service that handles the paperwork on your behalf; the refund itself is granted and paid through the official federal program, subject to SAT rules. This service handles paperwork; it is not tax or legal advice, and SAT rules govern eligibility and amounts.

2. Eligibility

To qualify you must be a foreign tourist leaving Mexico by air or sea, with valid CFDI invoices (minimum 1,200 MXN per store), a passport, departure proof, and a foreign-issued card. Eligibility and amounts are determined by SAT rules, not by us. If you don't qualify, we'll tell you, and there is no charge.

3. Fees — no refund, no fee

Checking eligibility is free. If your claim proceeds, we keep a processing commission, after which you receive up to about 9% of your purchase, net. You only pay if your refund is actually paid to your card. We show you the exact net amount before anything is filed; we never promise the full 16%.

4. Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the documents and information you send us, for shopping with an eligible foreign card, and for completing any required departure-day verification at the airport or seaport. Refunds can be denied by the SAT for reasons outside our control (e.g. invalid documents, missed verification, ineligible purchases).

5. Timelines

Refund timelines are set by the SAT and your card network, not by us. We keep you updated at each step but cannot guarantee a specific payout date.

6. Limitation of liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but do not guarantee that any particular claim will be approved or paid by the SAT. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected claim.
